The 75th American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards were presented on March 14, 2025, at the Royce Hall in Los Angeles, honoring the best editors in film and television of 2024.[1][2][3][4][5] The nominees were announced on December 11, 2024.[6][7][8][9][10] To be eligible, films must have been released in theaters between January 1 to December 31, 2024, while television series must have aired between January 1 to November 1 of the same year.[11]
Filmmaker Jon M. Chu received the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award for his "distinguished achievement in the art and business of film", while film editors Paul Hirsch and Maysie Hoy received career achievement honors.[1][12][13]
The ceremony was originally scheduled for January 18, 2025, but was postponed due to the Southern California wildfires.[1]
