History

William Rosenwald—who had inherited the Rosenwald fortune from his father Julius Rosenwald—founded American Securities Capital Partners in 1947.[1] Investments included Ametek and Western Union.

In 1993, Michael G. Fisch became the William Rosenwald family's financial advisor.[2]

In 1994, American Securities launches its inaugural private equity fund. Led by Michael Fisch and Charles Klein, this milestone translated its family-office philosophy into an institutional platform focused on partnering with market-leading businesses.[3] Since then, they have invested in more than 80 investments across a variety industries, including industrial manufacturing, specialty chemicals, aerospace and defense, power & energy, and business services.

In June 2009, American Securities Capital Partners officially changed its name to American Securities LLC.[4]
