Americans for Responsible Innovation

Americans for Responsible Innovation (ARI) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization focused on governance related to artificial intelligence.[1][2] ARI advocates for federal AI policies that protect the public while maintaining America's competitive advantage in AI research and development.[3] The group works with lawmakers, national security experts, civil society organizations, and technology industry associations to advance bipartisan legislation.[4][5][6]

ARI's president is Brad Carson, a former U.S. congressman and Department of Defense official.[7][8] Technology entrepreneur Eric Gastfriend is the group's executive director.[9] Carson and Gastfriend co-founded ARI.[10]
