Ana María Pérez del Campo Noriega (born 19 May 1936) is a Spanish lawyer, feminist and writer. She pioneered the struggle for women's rights under Franco and during Spain's transition to democracy. In 1974, she founded and headed the Asociación de Mujeres Separadas Association of Separated Women) at a time when divorce had not yet been legalized and went on to prepare the terms of the 1981 divorce law. She has constantly fought for equal rights for men and women, recently turning to the defence of abused women.[1][2]
