Anahita maolan is a species of spider in the family Ctenidae.[1] It was first described from Guizhou Province, China in 1999.[2]

The species name is derived from the name of Maolan (茂兰) Nature Reserve in Guizhou Province, China.

A. maolan is known from southern China (Guizhou and Hunan Provinces) and Taiwan.[3] The species was originally described from specimens collected in the Maolan Nature Reserve in Guizhou Province.[2] It was subsequently recorded from Hunan Province[4] and Taiwan, where it was found in Kenting National Park.[3]
