The Anambra State College of Nursing Sciences (ASCONS) is a tertiary health sciences institution located in Nkpor, Anambra State, Nigeria. It is owned and funded by the Anambra State Government and offers professional nursing education. The college and other approved nursing institutions in Anambra State are regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).[1][2][3]

The Anambra State College of Nursing Sciences, Nkpor originated from nursing training programs previously administered through the School of Nursing at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Nkpor. In recent years, the institution was upgraded to a college, reflecting its expanded mandate to offer tertiary nursing programmes accredited by national education authorities.[4]

ASCONS operates under oversight by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for its diploma and higher diploma programmes.
