Anant Hareebrun Singh (born May 29, 1956)[1] is a South African film producer and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Singh attended the University of Durban-Westville, in South Africa.[1]
Career
Singh is the CEO of Videovision Entertainment, and the producer of "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom"[2] which premiered in 2013 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Singh spent more than two decades on producing the film, in which he also interviewed Nelson Mandela while he was still imprisoned. The film took more than sixteen years to complete.[3]
Singh is the chairman of Cape Town Film Studios[4] and can be accredited for over 100 films.[5]
