Anatoly Naiman

Anatoly Genrikhovich Naiman (Russian: Анатолий Генрихович Найман; 23 April 1936 – 21 January 2022) was a Russian poet, translator and writer. He was one of the four Akhmatova's Orphans.[1]

Born on 23 April 1936 in Leningrad,[2] Naiman was a graduate of the Leningrad Technological Institute[2] and was a fellow at Oxford University and the Kennan Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center.[1]

He died in Moscow on 21 January 2022, at the age of 85. He suffered a stroke few days prior to his death.[3]
