Andrea Bradford

Andrea Bradford is an opera singer and businesswoman.[1]

Bradford was born on December 19, 1949, in Huntsville, Alabama. She attended high school in Powhatan, Virginia. She began piano training at five years old and started vocal training in high school. She studied at Oakwood College, Alabama, before getting a degree in vocal performance from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music in 1970 and a masters from Boston University College of Music in 1973.

Bradford performed with the Opera Company of Boston.[2] Bradford was elected treasurer for the American Guild of Music Artists in 2019.

In 2023, she was recognized as one of "Boston’s most admired, beloved, and successful Black Women leaders" by the Black Women Lead project.[3][4][5]
