Andrew Allen (born August 2, 1976) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender coach and pro scout. He is currently a pro scout for the Seattle Kraken.[1] Previously, he was the goaltending coach for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League from 2015 to 2019 after serving in the same position for the Japan men's national ice hockey team from 2006 to 2011.
Allen was born in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. He attended the University of Vermont, where he played four seasons (1997–2001) of NCAA college hockey with the Vermont Catamounts.
