Anita Nergaard (born December 16, 1967) is a Norwegian diplomat.[1] She served as the Norwegian ambassador to Singapore from 2017 to 2021.[1][2]
Nergaard was born on December 16, 1967, in Sámi, and grew up in Karasjok Municipality.[3] She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen in 1990. There she also received a master's degree in economics and her doctorate in 1993. From 1993 to 1995, she worked for the central bank of Norway, Norges Bank.[2]
