Ankan Kumar Roy is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter and composer associated with the contemporary Indie-Bangla music scene. He is known for his emotionally restrained vocal style and for his appearance on Coke Studio Bangla Season 3. He gained wider public recognition through his songs Upo and Long Distance Love (2025), the latter composed by Shuvendu Das Shuvo and produced under the musical direction of Shayan Chowdhury Arnob.[1]

Coke Studio Bangla
In September 2025, Ankan Kumar Roy featured on Coke Studio Bangla season 3 with the song Long Distance Love, released as the fifth track of the season.[4]
The song was co-written by Roy and Canada-based Bangladeshi singer-songwriter Pragata Naoha and performed alongside Sheikh Mumtahina Mehzabin Afrin. The music video, directed by Adnan Al Rajeev, was filmed in an abandoned gallery and marked the first black-and-white visual presentation in Coke Studio Bangla.[5]
