Anna Thangi (transl. Elder brother, Younger sister) is a 2005 Indian Kannada-language drama film starring Shiva Rajkumar and Radhika. It depicts the story of an elder brother's love and affection for younger sister. The film is directed and written by Om Sai Prakash and produced under Vijay films banner. The film, upon release, met with positive reviews and was remade into Telugu as Gorintaku.[2]
Lakshmi's husband becomes a pauper after his brothers cheat him, and he is sent to jail. Lakshmi's life turns upside down when she becomes dependent on Shivanna, her brother.

Production
The film saw the cast and crew of Thavarige Baa Thangi (2002), consisting of star cast Shivarajkumar, Radhika, director Sai Prakash and composer Hamsalekha, collaborating for second time. The film was launched at Doddaganapathi temple at Basavanagudi. Parvathamma Rajkumar switched on the camera while Geetha Shivarajkumar lit the lamp.[3]
Soundtrack
All the songs are composed, written and scored by Hamsalekha.[4] The song "Preethse Preethse" from Preethse was imitated by Hema Chaudhary and Sadhu Kokila in the film. The music director of the Telugu version (Gorintaku) - S.A.Rajkumar retained three songs from this movie.
