The overlapping leaves are oblong with a pointed tip, each measuring 12–20 cm (4.7–7.9 in) by 5–7 cm (2.0–2.8 in). The upper surface of the leaf is dark green, with a paler underside. The inflorescence measures 15–20 cm (5.9–7.9 in) long with three branches. The fruit is a smooth, round berry that measures approximately 2 cm (0.79 in) long.[3]
