Club career
Matković started his career with smaller clubs from his hometown - Budainka-Kolonija and Željezničar Slavonski Brod. He subsequently joined the Marsonia academy at the age of 10, staying there for six seasons, before moving to Osijek in August 2022.[1][2] On 8 November 2023, he made his professional league debut as a late substitute in a 1–0 loss against Hajduk Split.[3] On 25 November 2023, he scored his first senior goal, coming off the bench to score against Dinamo Zagreb.[4]
International career
Matković has represented Croatia at various youth levels.[5]
