Antonio Meulener Verdeguer (April 16, 1861 - August 17, 1912) was a Spanish inventor and military man. He specialized in ballistics, chemistry and metallurgy. He invented multipurpose topographic tools and a possible primitive thermobaric weapon, the tóspiro, which he successfully tested before destroying and erasing it himself.[1] He has been called the "Spanish Oppenheimer".[2]
