Armenia is set to be represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The Armenian participating broadcaster, Public Television of Armenia (AMPTV), will internally select its entry for the contest.

Background
Prior to the 2026 contest, Armenia had participated in the contest seventeen times since its first entry in the 2007 contest. Since then, it has won the contest on two occasions: in 2010 with "Mama" performed by Vladimir Arzumanyan and in 2021 with "Qami Qami" performed by Maléna. Armenia had also placed within the top three on ten occasions, more than any other country to have ever competed, and never placed outside of the top nine.[1] The nation opted not to take part in the contest in 2020 due to the martial law imposed on the country as a result of the then-ongoing Second Nagorno-Karabakh War;[2] it was then set to be represented by Maléna.[3] In 2025, Albert competed for Armenia with the song "Brave Heart", which ended up in 4th place out of 18 entries with 175 points.[4]
Before Junior Eurovision
Internal selection
The Armenian entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be internally selected by AMPTV. The submission period open from 18 June 2026 to 30 June 2026. Citizens or residents born between 25 October 2011 and 24 October 2017 were allowed to compete. Individual artists, duets, and group up to six people were also allowed to participate. The artist had to apply only once in one group, and at the auditions, the artist had to perform two well known songs of their choice. After the artist was selected, their entry would be internally selected by AMPTV.
After application's closed on 30 June, a jury panel assessed the first initial applications. AMPTV confirmed that 40 acts made it to the second round – In which, they are now invited to take part in auditions in Yerevan from 3 July to 12 July. The winner was assessed by a jury panel of eight.[5][6]
