Ashwin Kanchanbhai Makwana (born 1984)[1] is an Indian para chess player from Gujarat. The visually challenged chess player was selected for the Indian team that took part in the 2022 Asian Para Games, Hangzhou, China. He won the Men's Team Rapid VI-B1 gold medal on 28 October 2023 along with Darpan Inani and Soundarya Pradhan.[2][3] He also won a bronze medal in the individual event on the same day.[4][5]

Ashwin hails from Vadodara.[6] He is a stock market dealer.[2]
