Biography
Roszmann (Rossmann) was born on 1 September 1859 in Ghent.[2] She studied in Paris at the Académie Julian.[3] Her teachers included William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Gustave Boulanger, Jules Joseph Lefebvre, and Tony Robert-Fleury.[4] Rossmann exhibited her work at the Palace of Fine Arts at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois.[5] She died in 1945 in Ghent.[6] Her work is in the collection of the Kunstmuseum Basel.[3]
