Augustine University, Ilara also known as AUI is a private Catholic-owned University located in Ilara, a town in Epe local government area of Lagos State Southwestern Nigeria.[2] The University which was approved on 25 February 2015 by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Universities Commission offers courses at undergraduate levels but yet to commence post graduate[3] programs.

Augustine University, Ilara-Epe (AUI) is a private Christian university in Lagos State, Nigeria. It is governed by a structure including the Founder/Chancellor, Governing Council, Vice-Chancellor, and principal officers responsible for coordinating academic and administrative affairs. The university was established in 2008 by the Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Order of Saint Augustine).[5]
