Austis (Sardinian: Aùstis)[4] is a village and comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Cagliari and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of Nuoro. It has 711 inhabitants.[5][6]

Demographics
As of 2026, the population is 711, of which 50.2% are male, and 49.8% are female. Minors make up 10.4% of the population, and seniors make up 32.1%.[7][8]
