Aziziye

Aziziye is a municipality and district of Erzurum Province, Turkey.[2] Its area is 1,529 km2,[3] and its population is 65,553 (2022).[1]

The district was established as Ilıca District in 1990, with its centre at Ilıca.[4][5] It was expanded with the former municipality Dadaşkent and renamed to Aziziye in 2008.[6] Aziziye lies in the western part of the urban area of Erzurum. The district center is famous for thermal springs (39.4 °C).
