In August 2025, it was announced that Rogen and Kendrick were in negotiations to star in the film.[1]
In November 2025, it was announced that Rae, Stevens, Cherry and Berlant were cast in the film and that filming occurred in Los Angeles.[2]
In December 2025, it was announced that Stone, Helms, Strathairn and Park were cast in the film.[3]
