Barczew [ˈbart͡ʂɛf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Brzeźnio, within Sieradz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 km (4 mi) east of Brzeźnio, 14 km (9 mi) south of Sieradz, and 63 km (39 mi) south-west of the regional capital Łódź.
