Basil Allchin

Basil Charles Allchin (16 April 1878 – 1957) was an English organist, teacher and music examiner. Born at 47 Broad Street in Oxford (now demolished),[1] he was the son of William Thomas Howell Allchin (1843 – 1883), who was organist at St John's College, Oxford and conductor of the Oxford Choral Society for 16 years until his early death, aged 39.[2]
