Batata harra (Arabic: بطاطا حرّة) is a vegetable dish native to Lebanon and Syria.[1] It consists of potatoes, red peppers, coriander, chili and garlic that are all fried together in olive oil.[2][3][4][5] They can be served plain or in a pita.

Etymology
Baṯāṯā ḥārrah literally means "spicy potatoes".[6]
