"Beat It" is a song by the American singer Sean Kingston, featuring Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa, released on April 15, 2013, as the second single from Kingston's album, Back 2 Life (2013).[1] It was written by Kingston and Khalifa along with Omari Akinlolu and the song's producer, Nicholas "Nic Nac" Balding.
The song moderately entered Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 52, and it peaked at number 17 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
A music video to accompany the release of "Beat It" was filmed on March 23, 2013, in Malibu. The video was released on YouTube and Vevo on April 29, 2013, at a total length of four minutes and sixteen seconds. The video features Kingston, Brown, and Khalifa partying poolside at an estate, and features a guest appearance by NicNac, the producer.[2]
