Beatriz Isabel Hevia Willer (born 30 October 1992) is a Chilean conservative politician who served in the Constitutional Council. She was the president of the council.[1][2]
Beatriz has publicly declared herself anti-abortion and close to social conservatism.[3]
Hevia was born into a family linked to the agricultural and livestock industry. Her parents are Gerardo Hevia Hott & Loreto Willer Ellwanger, both descendants of German settlers.[4] After completing her high school studies at the Instituto Alemán de Osorno ('German Institute of Osorno') in 2010,[4] she moved to the capital city, Santiago, where she joined the University of the Andes Law School.
At university, Hevia was chairman of the student federation's statutes committee.[4] Some time later, after graduating, she completed a diploma course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
On March 2, 2023, Hevia married Martín Barros Campino.[5]
