Belidzhi (Russian: Белиджи́; Lezgian: Билиж; Azerbaijani: Белиджи, Belici) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Derbentsky District of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 12,236.[3]

History
It was established in 1899.[citation needed] Urban-type settlement status was granted to it in 1965.[citation needed]
Administrative and municipal status
Within the framework of administrative divisions, the urban-type settlement of Belidzhi is incorporated within Derbentsky District as Belidzhi Settlement[citation needed] (an administrative division of the district).[2] As a municipal division, Belidzhi Settlement is incorporated within Derbentsky Municipal District as Belidzhi Urban Settlement.[4]
