Bellegarde (French pronunciation: [bɛlɡaʁd] ; Provençal: Bèlagarda) is a commune in the Gard department in southern France.

The village was the birthplace of Batisto Bonnet (1844–1925), a noted writer in the Provençal dialect.[3]
