Benton Whitley (born February 12, 1999) is an American professional football linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Holy Cross Crusaders.
Whitley played for the Holy Cross Crusaders for five seasons.[1] He became a starter as a junior and used the extra year of eligibility granted to college athletes in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and returned to Holy Cross for a fifth season.[2] Whitley finished his college career with 111 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, and 15.5 sacks in 42 games played.[3]
