Bhupen Kumar Borah (born 30 October 1970) is an Indian politician from Assam currently affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).[3] He is a former member of the Indian National Congress (INC),[4] where he served as the president of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee from 2021 to 2025 before resigning and switching parties in February 2026.[1][5][6][7] He served two-terms as a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly representing Bihpuria from 2006 to 2016.[8][9][10]
