Premise

Production

The series is from Dan Levy and Rachel Sennott and was picked up by Netflix in May 2025 as part of Levy's overall deal with the service.[5] Levy also acts as showrunner and leads the cast as well as serving as executive producer alongside Rachel Sennott and Anne-Marie McGintee for Not a Real Production Company.[6] Executive producers also include Dean Holland who directed the first two episodes, Etan Frankel, and Timothy Greenberg.[4]

The cast also includes Taylor Ortega, playing Levy's sister and Laurie Metcalf playing the duo's mother, as well as Jack Innanen, Boran Kuzum and Abby Quinn in series regular roles and Elizabeth Perkins, Jacob Gutierrez, Joe Barbara, Josh Fadem and Mark Ivanir in recurring roles.[1][7]

Filming began in New Jersey in August 2025.[8]

Release

The series is set to premiere April 9, 2026.[2]
