Bilal Tabur

Bilal Tabur (born 1 January 1949) is a Turkish former Greco-Roman wrestler and coach. He won the silver medal in the men's Greco-Roman 52 kg event at the 1975 World Wrestling Championships and the bronze medal in the same division at the 1975 European Wrestling Championships. He also competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the men's Greco-Roman flyweight event.[1][2]

Career

Tabur was born in Gaziantep on 1 January 1949.[1] He competed in the Greco-Roman 52 kg division. His best international results came in 1975, when he won the bronze medal at the 1975 European Wrestling Championships in Ludwigshafen and the silver medal at the 1975 World Wrestling Championships in Minsk.[2]

Tabur represented Turkey at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman flyweight event and was eliminated in the preliminary rounds.[1][3]

After retiring from active competition, Tabur worked as a coach.[4]
