William Andrew Whitaker (January 18, 1959 – October 2, 2022) was an American professional football safety in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals.[1] Whitaker played collegiate ball for the University of Missouri before being selected by the Packers in the seventh round of the 1981 NFL draft. He played four seasons in the NFL and retired in 1984.[2]

Whitaker died on October 2, 2022, at the age of 63.[3]
