Bizen City Museum of Art (備前市美術館, Bizen-shi Bijutsukan) is scheduled to open in Bizen, Okayama Prefecture, Japan in 2025. It was scheduled to open in April but now it's been delayed until mid July.[1] The museum supersedes and replaces the former Bizen Pottery Museum, on the same site, which closed for reconstruction in May 2023.[2] The displays will highlight contemporary ceramics, crafts, art, architecture, and design, alongside more traditional Bizen ware.[1]
