Bolívar Municipality is a municipality in the Bolivian department of Cochabamba. The municipality and Bolívar Province are identical. Its seat is the city of Bolívar, named after Simón Bolívar, a Venezuelan military and political leader.
The municipality is divided into nine cantons.
