Brady Boyd (American football)

Brady Boyd (born June 6, 2002) is an American football wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and for the Utah State Aggies.

Early life
Boyd attended Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas, and committed to play college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.[1]
College career
Minnesota
As a freshman in 2021, Boyd recorded two receptions for 18 yards. After the conclusion of the season, he entered the NCAA transfer portal.[2]
Texas Tech
Boyd transferred to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.[3] In first season as a Red Raider in 2022, he played in 12 games, hauling in 13 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown.[4] During the 2023 season, Boyd took a redshirt, recording five receptions in two starts.[5][6] In 2024, he notched just one reception for seven yards in 11 games. After the season, Boyd once again entered the NCAA transfer portal.[7]
Utah State
Boyd transferred to play for the Utah State Aggies.[8] In week 2 of the 2025 season, he hauled in six passes for 87 yards in a loss against Texas A&M Aggies.[9] Boyd finished the 2025 season with 46 receptions for 743 yards and eight touchdowns.[10]

After not being selected in the 2026 NFL draft, Boyd signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.[12]
