Floriano was a Deodoro-class coastal defense ship built for the Brazilian Navy at the end of the nineteenth century. Ordered from the French shipbuilder Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée she was launched on 6 July 1899 at their La Seyne shipyard. ^[3]
