Bredinsky District

Bredinsky District (Russian: Брединский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 5,076 square kilometers (1,960 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Bredy.[1] Population: 28,498 (2010 census);[2] 33,039 (2002 Census);[4] 30,750 (1989 Soviet census).[5] The population of Bredy accounts for 33.2% of the district's total population.[2]
