Brian C. Smith (born January 8, 1989) is an American former professional football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. He was also member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills.
Brian C. Smith was born on January 8, 1989, in Overland Park, Kansas.[1] He played high school football at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park.[1] He totaled 100 tackles, one interception, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries as a junior.[2] He recorded 126 tackles and nine sacks during his senior season, earning all-metro honors from the Kansas City Star.[2] In the class of 2007, he was rated the No. 13 inside linebacker in the nation and the No. 2 prospect in Kansas by Rivals.com.[2]
