On 22 August 2022, he joined Rotherham United on a season-long loan.[10][11] In January 2023 Norton-Cuffy was recalled by Arsenal, and he moved to Coventry City on loan instead.[12][13][14]

International career

Born in England, Norton-Cuffy is of Dominica descent.[18] Having already represented England at U16 and U18 level, he made his U19 debut during a 3–1 win over Republic of Ireland during 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification at the Bescot Stadium.[19]

On 17 June 2022, Norton-Cuffy was included in the England U19 squad for the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.[20] He was a second-half substitute in the final as England beat Israel 3–1 in extra time to win the tournament.[21]

On 22 March 2023, Norton-Cuffy made his debut for the England U20s during a 2–0 win over Germany in Manchester.[22] On 10 May 2023, Norton-Cuffy was included in the England squad for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.[23][24] However, he did not arrive at the tournament until after the group stages due to Coventry City's participation in the 2023 EFL Championship play-off final.[25] His only appearance of the tournament saw him start in their round of sixteen defeat against Italy.[26]

On 16 October 2023, Norton-Cuffy made his England U21 debut as a substitute during a 3–2 defeat to Ukraine in Košice in 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying.[27]
