Brotterode-Trusetal (German pronunciation: [bʁɔtəˈʁoːdə ˈtʁuːzəˌtaːl]) is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, in Thuringia, Germany. It was formed on 1 December 2011 by the merger of the former municipalities Brotterode and Trusetal.
