Bruce Crane (July 27, 1909 – June 2, 1985) was an American businessman and politician who was president and chairman of Crane & Co. and a member of the Massachusetts Governor's Council.
Crane was born in Dalton, Massachusetts, to Winthrop Murray Crane and Josephine Porter Boardman. He attended Dalton public schools and the Lawrence Academy School. In 1931, he graduated from Yale University.[1]
Political career
Crane was a member of the Dalton Finance Committee and from 1946 to 1951 served on the Dalton School Committee. From 1953 to 1957 he represented the 8th District on the Massachusetts Governor's Council. From 1964 to 1980 he was a member of the Republican National Committee.[2]
