Bryan Andrew Young (born 3 November 1964) is a former international cricketer who played 35 Test matches and 74 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for New Zealand between 1990 and 1999. He played internationally as a right-handed opening batsman who scored over 2,000 Test runs, including a highest score of 267 not out against Sri Lanka in 1997.

Young was born at Whangārei in the Northland Region of New Zealand in 1964.[1] He began his cricket career as a wicket-keeper and lower-order batsman for Northern Districts.[1] He made his first-class cricket debut for the side in January 1984 and played for the side until the end of the 1997/98 season when he moved to Auckland for his final season as a professional cricketer. He played more than 150 matches for Northern Districts.[2]
