The University Center for Biological and Agricultural Sciences (CUCBA) is one of the university centers of the University of Guadalajara, located in western Mexico. It specializes in biological and agricultural sciences, and conducts teaching and research activities. The current rector of CUCBA is Dr. Graciela Gudiño Cabrera. The teaching staff consists of more than 335 professors, and 87 researchers are members of the National System of Researchers.

The center was established in 1994 with the formation of the university network. It was created as a metropolitan thematic center, specializing in biology, agronomy, and environmental sciences. The agronomy division originated at the current location of the center. However, the biology and veterinary medicine divisions originated in other university centers: the biology division was originally located at the technological institute (CUCEI), and the veterinary medicine division was located in the faculty of medicine (CUCS).[1]
