California is the third studio album by American indie rock band American Music Club. It was released on November 10, 1988 on Frontier Records.[4]
The album was included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.[5] In the album's article in the book, reviewer Arnar Eggert Thoroddsen, from Iceland's daily newspaper Morgunblaðið, describes the album as the band's "definitive statement."[5]
