Taxonomy

This species was described in 2000 by David Blest and Cor Vink from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]

Description

The male is recorded at 10.2mm in length. The carapace is coloured light yellow with a median stripe dorsally. The abdomen is pale yellow with dark shading laterally and posteriorly.[1]

Distribution

This species is only known from the north east of New Zealand's North Island.[1]

Conservation status

Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".[2]
