Cantharolethrus is a genus of stag beetles in the subfamily Lucaninae.[1][2][3][4] It is found from Mexico to South America.[4]

BioLib recognizes Cantharolethrus elongatus Lacroix, 1982 as a valid species,[2] whereas other sources treat it as a synonym of Cantharolethrus peruvianus.[1][3]
