Cardedu is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Ogliastra in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Tortolì. It has 1,983 inhabitants.[3]

Demographics
As of 2025, the population is 1,983, of which 48.5% are male, and 51.5% are female. Minors make up 16.1% of the population, and seniors make up 24.4%.[4]
